Lucid CEO Michael Murray presents at White House Office of Science and Technology Policy "Energy Datapalooza" event

Lucid's Building Dashboard is used to highlight the Administration's Green Button initiative, which provides customers easy access to their energy usage data.

October 1, 2012

Washington, D.C. -- Lucid CEO Michael Murray has been invited to speak at today's White House "Energy Datapalooza" event, a showcase of innovative companies and entrepreneurs who are actively using Green Button and building performance data. Mr. Murray joins other leaders from energy utility companies and the private sector, as well as government officials that include U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and U.S. Chief Technology Officer Todd Park.

When: Monday, October 1, 2012
Where: Eisenhower Executive Office Building, South Court Auditorium, Washington, D.C.

"I am truly honored to be invited to present at this important event," said Michael Murray, CEO of Lucid. "Over the last eight years, Lucid has helped build a new market, one focused on saving energy by making building energy data visible and actionable. The Green Button initiative makes it possible for us gain access to more data, serve more customers, and engage a broader audience of people whose actions affect energy use within commercial buildings. Widespread adoption of Green Button enables Lucid to focus on making actionable tools rather than on collecting data."

After announcing its support of the "Green Button" data, Lucid continues to be a leader in this sector by finding creative ways to utilize Green Button to make actionable, energy-saving technologies and services.
